Hello everyone. This post hereby signals the beginning of Working Beats. Beats Working – That’s what most producers must think when they have been signed to a label and have their feet up in the studio. “Wish I could make music for a living”, that’s what most bedroom producers think, whilst they are working a full time job and trying to find enough energy to promote themselves as musicians as well. As most of you musicians, DJ’s, and producers will know, we make music for the love of it, and mostly because we want people to hear it.

There is now so much great music being made worldwide, that the internet generation now has its own stars and well loved artists. Sites like EDM Digital and Beatport have standardised a whole new array of artists who are now integrating into the global dance and music scene and are turning it into something even greater. Music is being brought back to us and back into our hands.

I have been producing for two years, been DJing for 8 years, and have been playing guitar and piano for 10 years. Music has always been a prominent part of my personality. I always loved bands that were marginal and underground; I got into Electro, Jazz, House, Garage, Drum and Bass, Deep House, Acid House. You name it; I probably grinned at it and loved it (except for speed garage).

I have set up Working Beats because I love tunage. I also love the fact that there are dudes out there making music miles better than some of the codshit that goes into the charts nowadays. These dudes are unknown and cos they are unknown, no one can support them. Help some of the dudes out there who are making good tunage get a wee bit of dollar for their efforts, and check out their wicked music that will bless your CDJ and Traktor screen. Working Beats gives 70% of all revenue to its artists, so we definitely ain’t fatcats!

Kind Regards,

Dave
