Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knew of some good places that printed short-runs (10+) of CD's?

I'm especially interested in places in the UK.

Thanks...

the cheapest way still be cafepress.com or cd-me....they take a % on sells but on the other hand you'll have nothing to invest except sending them the master and covers.

I don't know much about either, but should be easy enough to find out cost, etc...

The cheapest way is to do it yourself on a computer.
Dependeing on what your goals are. I'd personally stear clear from Cafe Press they are a ripp off. If your goal is to sell cd's then yea you need it professionally done. Id go with Disk Makers. They do the job right you get a bar code so that your cd sales are reported to sound scan and if you start selling big time over 60,000 units believe me some one will take notice. A good size indie label or a 2 tier down owned by a major label.

I can tell you ways to get there quicker, but they are not some thing that I would publish on the internet. I'll tell you this much you can make more money with your cd's if you do things right the first time. If your just trying to get gigs or giving away free cd's at a show. Go with making them your self. By some neto labels and don't for get to put the copy right seal on every thing as well as contact information. You don't see it on big time recording stars cds but we aren't there yet! The reason for the info is obviously so that people can contact your band and hire you for a gig etc..
