what is it about that CSTREAM that makes you want to promote them??? Not trying to be funny, I REALLY want to make THIS the site that people promote. You can sell songs here as well!!!!
Can you offer me some feedback on what it would take to make the Unsigned Band Web your site of choice?

Perhaps my post was a bit provocating. This was also only my humble purpose to get some real opinions from artists here.
I agree, I would really like to sell separate mp3 tracks if here's a such option in future in UBW.
I think that many us unsigned bands/solo projects are also making some really good music and so why not sell some of tracks too. It's not really about money in indie scene but the option to buy artists tracks give more value to the website and the artists as well. Doesn't it?
It could also give a bit different picture to all "freeloaders" when they see that not all music in the Internet is free  At this moment the slow release of music.download.com does not have mp3 streaming option so ppl are getting all music for free but UBW had already option when this site was launched. Not so much visitors here but better value I think. I got this instant music=software feel from music.download.com |

Digitalbeat... Great comments, and thanks to every else who posted as well. I think it's great if unsigned artists can make a few dollars off their work. Every artist has a different philosophy when it comes to their songs. There really isn't a "one size fits all".

Im licensing some of my tracks for a female kick boxing video 
As for listeners, i will always give them away for free 
btw, digitalbeat...have you sold a lot of tracks there? I always figured those places never really generated enough green to justify the fees. |

great, having music in sports videos is a good promo.
I don't know, it's not really a selling place. I have tracks available at I-Tunes though. |
