Hey guys!!!
I just gave a listen to Vexed... I like the wah effect you use on the guitar for the ambient intro. Then in comes the heavy guitar and some well sung high intensity lyrics. I really like the way you stop the heavy part on a dime. I love it when a song goes from 60 to 0 in a second.
Very good indeed! You guys have a LOT of talent!

Man, thanks for the good words, Ron. Hopefully these tracks will be met with that kind of review elsewhere too.
Many thanks,

Elsewhere? You mean there's somewhere other than here? |

Hey, I started listening to Atom but I didn’t get to finish. It was starting off really well. I love the beat on that song and the hook was really good. It elevated just like Vexed. Here is my review of Vex. If you get time check out my music and review (link at bottom).
Evin Gibson review of “Vexed” by CODE*ATOM
Genre: Rock/Pop
Artist:CODE*ATOM
Rating: A-
With a topic so personal as a love that you just can’t get out of your mind, “Vexed” could have easily been a pop inspired ballad and still crossover. In this offering CODE*ATOM kept the ballad-like lyrics and added a unique rock edge to this common situation. The song takes off with a soft rock groove captured by band members Chris, James, and Shane. In the first verse, you’re introduced to the raspy and edgy voice of Rey. He starts with a melody that is so calm and seductive that it could have carried the entire song. By the end of the first verse, the song explodes into an aggressive chorus. The range of Rey’s voice is an asset to this song. Throughout the remainder of the song there is a similar pattern but it never lost its flavor or passion. Ending with a simple instrumental, “Vexed” is a remarkable piece that takes you on an emotional ride. CODE*ATOM lives up to their name with the fiery gem! |

Your sound has some Chevelle in it. I dig the vocal harmonies a lot. Nice work. Maybe bring the vocals out a little bit more in the forefront so that they can be heard a little bit more. Keep up the good work!
