To the 8 people who wasted their time listining to the unfinished song 'Oblivion", I'm sorry. Some how I put up the premastered version with no backing vocals, electric guitar or effects. I don't know how that happened but it's been corrected. Sorry.
Let me know who you are and I'll give you your money back.(Donate points to you.) |

Wow. Very nice overall but I really like the mixing in this; the vocals over everything but not overpowering. The guitar tracks rock also.

Oblivion is a nice floaty tune....excellent vocals, love where the guitar melodies modulate into minors from the overall major (1:49 etc). Mixwise- i think the ride cymbals are a little loud in places, as well as the melody guitar line during the first vocal stuff, love the stereo placement of the drums, it really widens the mix out, nice subdued snare- great drums, both the sounds and playing- love the change at 2:30, khoul tone, both thick and thin. sounds like excellent musicianship from everyone involved.
thumbs up

Thanks for the encouraging and informative reviews guys. But I was only trying to explane why that song was so crappy. But you guys give really detailed reviews.
You should start your own review thread like Mike Frazer does. Thanks again. |
