Yes, Yes, I know. Another one. "Hey, Jack. Stop."
In any case, here's yet another song. I posted the lyrics for "Your Illusion" sometime last week in the appropriate forum and now I've got the song recorded and available on my artist page (at the very bottom). Hi-fi and Lo-fi are both available, and so are the lyrics.
"Your Illusion" is written for a buddy of mine-- a fellow musician who I used to play with in a band called The Pozniaks -- who's gotten very cocky and sure of himself lately. The song isn't supposed to say he's a bad musician, because he certainly is not. Unfortunately, egotism is never a good thing, so I wrote him a song.
Please give "Your Illusion" a listen and let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Jack |

The song is awesome, I mean the song itself, the idea. However, at several points you sing so loud that you overload the mic, or drop off key (FLAT!!!) or slur the words so I cant understand what your saying. You need to find a happy medium with your vocals and demostrate control over your vocal range. Find a good voice coach in your area and go sing for him or her or take a cd of one of your songs. They will be able to show you how to control the dynamics of your voice in order to create a pleasant sound, instead of a nasal half yell half off key howl. You have serious potential to be a great singer songwriter but you need some professional help first. See a vocal coach and then buy a guitar tuner and believe me you will see a world of difference in your songs. |
