Hi there in the rest of the world.
I´m writing here, because it would be cool if some of the readers/writers on this UBW-messageboard take a closer look at the tunes I´m releasing.
As mentioned in the headline, i call my sound LoFi.
Some of my tracks are recorded in two or three hours. But mainly I take an idea, wich whir
around my head, ban it on tape (of course tape!), then the idea takes a sleep and when
I´m listening to some old tapes, I stumble across an idea and start recording a loud,
massive and spontaneous LoFi-Popsong.
Mondo B. on UBW: Usignebandweb/MondoB.
There is also a very cool Videoclip on my homepage, wich I filmed all by my self in a stop motion way. I would love, if you check it out and give me some comments on it too!
The Video (and a lot of more Mondopop) can be found here:
Mondobiondo.com
Thanks for reading and listening,
Mondo B. |

This is interesting stuff. I like it. Experimental, but pop oriented. Fun listening. |

Very interesting indeed. The out of time measures and de-tuned instrumentation are certainly thought provoking and mind bending.
Probably not something I would listen to repeatedly, but I enjoyed your tracks nonetheless!!!
Keep it up!

Thanks for your opinions.
Yeah, LoFi is the way.
Maybe someone is interested in a new song wich is only available at a small but fine onlinelabel, called LoFi-lab.
The song is called "no sunshine in Holon" and you can get it at LoFi-lab. The page is in german but the navigation-bar is english and mp3 is universal...
Thanks for your attention |

Creative songs, nice work on the drum machine... I never had any patience for those. I found myself boppoing my head along to "Artfart".
Thumbs up to Lo-fi. |

Also thank you, lincoln.
But what I wanted to say is, that I´m not using a drum machine or something like that.
What you hear is a Keybord, wich is distorted by my big Marshall Valvestate amp.
That is loud I can tell you.
So every beat is, uhm, fingerd by me. |

Nice, that's probably a little more freeing as well. |
