Nice intro. makes me think of Tea Party for some reason (until the vocals start)
I really like the drums on this track. it has a nice rolling feel to it.
Vocals are cool but sort of seem to sit outside the mix. (does that make sense?) if they were blended more into the mix they would be better (obviously that's only my opinion and my production values are pretty rubbish on my tracks!!)
Nice work though. |

mittens,
I really love the atmosphere of your new song. This is my favorite by you! The vocals sound great, and I love the buildup at the beginning of the song. I love the drum jumpy drum line too, really puts you into a groove...
This song is AWESOME!!!!!

I just had to click on "Beautifully Disturbed" while I was checking out the new tune. I really like that tune!
The new one is a good listen too.

You guys have a very edgy new sound that I like alot. I like how the drums were a very non traditional pattern a beat, and overall the music was soothing and easy to listen to. I wasnt blow away by the vocals, but they were very good, laid back and in the pocket. The thing I didnt like was I didnt get a real sense of depth from the lyrics, in fact all I remember are the words "Just push play" If thats all you wanted people to hear then the goal has been met, however, I think there could be some deeper meaning evoked with better written lyrics which would make the song really pop and stick in people's minds. I could be wrong here, but Im going with my first instinct. I hope this review helps. |

It's been a while since I've been able to cruz around and read the forums..I've got alot to catch up on...thanks for all the reviews. Just to let you know though, this is actually not a new one...It was written and recorded over 2 years ago (actually, it may be 3 yrs), and the vocal mixes on most of our songs are still somewht of an issue. I agree that in most songs the vocals seem to lay on top of the music and they don't seem to be part of the song..we're still working on that. As far as lyrical content, well, I do what I can, and hope people understand what I'm talking about,(ie:Don't bite the hand, you grab it.. Heeheee....)In any case, WitcherCreek is still a work in progress, and I find that these threads are an excellent tool in our developement. Thanks to all!!
