I have witten a track which is in a new style for me and I am looking for someone to review it. It is a Scottish based song with an intro that sounds a bit like the Braveheart theme.

Hi.
Listening now. Love the atmosphere, can almost see the after-battle mists. Excellent beat coming in around 1.41. An exciting and memorable piece.

I'd place it in Instrumental...I think that's the best place for it...or maybe WORLD |

This song definitely has that techno feel to it, which is something I usually shy away from. However, what I really perceive as the defining characteristic is the slow moving backing melody of it all, which has a certain traditional feel to it. That's more my cup of tea. I'd love to hear more of you Scotlanders doing your homelands traditional music, only because it's something I'd really like to try my hand at someday. I'm not quite ready yet tho.
Anyhow... I like this. |

Hiya Johnny...
The Genre Charts are based on daily plays, so if I went to play a song now it would be bumped up by one play.
The main chart is based on weekly plays (how many over a week).
I, for example was number 2 in one chart, but when I decided to move it to a more appropraite genre, it went to number one, because I had more plays in that day. Tomorrow I may be number four, but with more plays overall.
This stand you firm for the weekly chart.
I'm terrible at explaining things that arn't lyrical....hope you understand it, lol. |
