Hi Dragon!!!
What's going wrong?
A couple of quick thoughts. If you are on dial-up be patient. It can take a LONG time to upload a song over a dial-up connection. (10 minutes or more depending upon your connection)
Make sure you're uploading an .mp3 (that's the only format we allow)
Make sure the bit rate matches the upload ex... hifi = 64kpbs or higher
lofi = 64kpbs or lower
Hope this helps!

Sounds like your internet connection. There haven't been any server problems today. What kind of internet connection do you have? What internet browser are you using (Internet Exporer, Netscape, Firefox, etc...?))

dragon, just wanted to say you might be OK to drop bitrate down to 128kbps without much noticeable drop in mp3 quality. that'd save you 2/3 of your upload time for hifi.

Dragon,
Did you convert the song to a lower bitrate or is it still at 192??
How long did it take before the page timed out?

Yes the songs bite rate was still 192.
It took about 50 -55 minutes for the screen to change. |

Dragon,
I think it's possible you could be timing apache out. There are certain limits that are built in to help protect the system, and your upload is taking so long it is tripping that protection. There are a couple of options for getting around this....
1)Send me the song on a disc and I'll upload it... LOL
2)Sample the song down to 128, and probably cut your upload time in half!!!
3)Get a faster internet connection
4)I can download the song elsewhere if you have it anywhere else on the web and then upload it for you.
Let me know what I can do to help!

dbpower amp has a slider bar on the interface that goes from 32kbps all the way up to something like 320kbps? I'm not at my PC where the software is, but it's a horizontal bar on the interface that you slide from left (lowest res) to right (highest res).
