favourites?

I have a wee question for any of the mods who run this site. Is there any possibility of adding a 'add to favourites' option on peoples sites so that if you were a member you could click it and the artist would be added to a list on your profile, maybe even cross linked so that people who look at your profile can see the kind of music you like.....

just a thought. I keep finding bands I like and then forgetting what they were called.

I think that's a great idea!

Let me ask you a question...

If the favortie was to your Browsers Favorites (in other words, copying the url to their website) would that be helpful? Or do you prefer an internal list?

My browser does this wierd thing of wiping all my favourites every couple of weeks, Have no idea why Confused

I just thought it would be quite nice to have a list on the actual website,

like you might have a list of your friends on something like livejournal, either a personal list or maybe even one you might want to share on your member site

There's a few artists on here that I would probably want to link to, kind of like 'if you liked my stuff, check these out'

there's no reason I couldn't do that already just putting in links by hand etc but I think It would maybe add more of a sense of comunity, might get folk chatting more, discussing each others music.

That's a cool idea....always wondered but never asked...A couple of sites already have them but do have problems with peeps being able to add their own links to some one elses favourites.

It'd have to be fool proof......why does everyone look at me when I say FOOL Laughing
