Hi
Am doing 'Track 1' as we speak. This has a nice feel and really like the overall sound and laid back beat.
There seems to be wavering in and out going in the sound which distracts from your song a little.. I had that when I use an Automatic Volume control in one of my songs and vowed never to use it again. Unproject or Alek may have a cure.
Very nice work though!
Now will listen to "Click'em"
Cheers

listening to a few of ya tracks,so here we go....
Track 1 - Very nice laid back vague feel to it.very abstract and slightly dark.i like it.
click 'em - ok i guess.very electronic and kind of trip hopish.not my cup of tea,but good quality none the less.
star track - i like this too.reminds me of an aesop rock type of beat.got a nice vibe to it,and the bass line is a bit repetative, but it goes well with it. |

first track - star track
Definitely got an old school sound to it. I can't think of the name of an old track the influence comes from, but if you listened to SPM that - Loyal Customer's which came from an old school track. That is what it reminds me of. Excellent vintage, street type, beat. The production of it sounds damn good in my opinion. Platinum I think definitely has potential. Dunno where he from, the style is unique compared to a lot of H-town artists, as well as other south artists. Have I heard a similar style/sound before yes, I'd have to think a lil to identify it completely, but delivery of the lyrics and style is on point %100. Just my 2 cents I ain't shit Holla back. |

Track name - Click'em
Track sounds pretty fresh, but I think some of the sounds and the overall track feel a little bit muffled. Might have been the angle you were takin with it tho. Maybe some higher pitch noises in conjunction with that ts404 type sound in there. Distortion maybe a lil high I dunno. I think some sounds could be brought out a lil more to make the track sound a lil more open and wide, rather than closed and trapped. Hope that makes any type of sense. |

track name - BROUSSARD BEATS ft. Platinum
In my personal opinion the track sounds too similar to the star track, track. Especially the drums completely. I'm speaking for the instrumental I haven't really been paying attention the the lyics completely yet. Think its only right to break down and give an opinion of a track by analyzing
1 ) the instrumental - atmosphere of the music, mood, sound
2) the lyrics - meaning, style, delivery, and impact
3) instrumental and lyrics combined - Does the music compliment the artist and does artist compliment the music. A beat is a beat and lyrics are just that words, both powerful as their own, but combined together on the right accord, form something brilliant we call music or a song.
Speaking for the instrumental good track, but nothing remarkable. I think the melody could be formed to be a little more catchy.
Lyrics - Without having read them and analyzing them much ( lyrics link wasn't working ) nothing catchy that just stands out. Could I hear it on an album fo sho, but would it be one of those tracks that just grabs your attention or one that you kinda flip thru after the first 30-45 secs. ? Keep it up tho, even though I'm still very much a beginner having not discovered my talent for music when I was young, when your making music and you get that feeling like " Man this is my calling, this is what I was meant to do " you gotta keep growing with it even through the times of our own or other peoples discouragement. |
