I'm standing in the rain trying not to cry. The sadness in the clouds above reflect my tired eyes. I feel that I have lived too long with too much too absorb. Knowledge is power with a serious price that no one can afford. Excuse me with my arrogance, my body still is young. I've seen more than my time suggests. My brain is growing numb. The fear of death cannot compare to the irony of being alive. I've seen too much to live in peace and I know too much to die. So I stand here in the rain and stare into a world of hate. The more I live, the more I learn, the more my spirit aches. Now it's my prayer that God would see the need to intervene. Erase the wisdom I have gained, and make my heart serene. Not knowing I wished to know. Not feeling I wished to feel. Not fearing I wished to see. Inside the truth was so much pain, not knowing I set it free. |

wow. well done . Reminds me some of the "lost like tears in rain" poem spoken at the end of the Blade Runner movie. again, very good.
