Just wanted to share!

Had a really cool day today. Like most of us I work a regular job to pay the bills etc... So today was really cool. Spent the day recording 6 tracks in a venue we rented and turned into our recording studio. Guitar cabs in toilets and bass cab on stairs. The band except for me stood facing each other wearing headphones and just rocked out. I was in the bar store room behind a window lookng at them and cursing the fact you cant put voals directly into the desk like you can guitars and bass (obvious spill factor!). Anyway - we knocked out the songs after a break to get new high hats for the drummer (they split!).Packed up at 7, then opened the doors at 8 to a crowd that had come to see us gig. We bailed for half an hour to eat and then played all night. Excellent gig. Cool crowd, we were all warmed up proper from the session. Just a perfect day as Mr Reed might say. Just wanted to share!
