There's a band that should be just as big as those two artists, a band who is at war with Clearchannel, and a band that deserves way more respect than they have right now. Hell, they should be on top of the billboard charts right now they're so good. They're one of the few "tolerable" underground acts that one can truly enjoy. They are amazing, and they're not my band. I'm only doing this because I love their music so much.

Checked out Terrorama, Wreck and Panties. Not a vibe I particularly vibe off ( and I do like this stlye, from Mason to Sisters of Mercy - alot of the stuff these guys are drawing on).
I think the fact that you had them as your priority when you started the thread (and not pushing yourself) tells me more about you and your integrity than I personally pick up off the tracks I heard. Too clean, Too tight, Too clinical and not speed metal.
It had it's moments but being the old bugger I am (and anyone over 17 is old when it comes to knowing what's out there and having a fresh, judgemental-free pair of ears to acutally listen with!!!??At least that's my opinion!), there just wasn't enough in it to keep me happy. Sorry.
At the end of the day it was good enough to get your recommendation and I'll say if Manson with more intensity, less complexity, and a bit less cliche rock is your thing....check it out!
But then hey - what the f**k do I know! |
