The last time I looked!
You'll be pleased to hear that it's raining.
Only kidding. Looks like I've got a lot of bands to add to the radio station! |

No seriously - I got an email form a girl in North Carolina who said she's visited Birmingham and that it was nice. It kind of got me thinking that maybe they'd cut it all out and transplanted in somewhere else.
I envy you the rain - been 30C+ for three months now and I'd like some respite. |

Jon - Birmingham to Japan? A mate of mine went over to Hiroshima to teach English for a year and ended up staying. He says it's brilliant over there. Got married to a Japanese girl and now has two children.
I read Bill Nelson's website (the bloke from Bebop Deluxe and stuff like that) - he married someone from Japan and found their customs very strange - especially the time her father died and they laid out his body in the living room for 3 days (in a heat wave!). |

Well, minus the Hiroshima bit that's pretty much my story too. And yes, it was a bit extreme just to escape Birmingham, but I'm glad I did it. Strange country for outsiders (like any country I guess), and still trying to make sense of it, but enjoying every day. Well, most of them anyway.
Spent three years in the NW (Lancaster), spent much of that time dodging lectures with a girl from Chorley and escaped to Manchester when things got too much. Never got to Bolton, but love that part of England. |

You'll have to let me know when you're doing your next gig. Might come along and watch. |

Hi.
I am from Leeds in Yorkshire and i am looking for new musicians for a tour of my debut album.
I want to form a band and write new stuff after we have toured the album.
Lots of interest and also interest on the gig side of things in and out of the country.
Soundbites of the album at www.area39project.com
Please email a.s.a.p if interested.
Thanks |
