Strings is a great refill,I did just about all of my song Endings with it. elektromechanical is quite possibly the best refill out there. really good collection of rhodes/wurlitzer/hammond. really not sure about the m-audio refill compilation, but I trust everything that is associated with m-audio. |
to expand on that, recycle is $249 by itself, strings is $89, and electromechanical is $12(you can download it for free. $12 is just if you want the cd to go with it.) if you want recycle, strings, and electromechanical, I'd say it is quite a good deal.. |

It would be really cool if you could Record in realtime to the sequencer, and use all the great Efffects directly when recording, Reason 3.0 is on its way but doubt that any live recording will be added at least in this update. Check out some facts about Reason 3 on their website.

The live recording feature (not that I ever record anything live ) is why I rewire my Reason 2.5 through Sonar 4, and I think they work great together. I love the various things I can do with the combination or Reason and Sonar and I will be one of the first to buy Reason 3, I think from what I've heard and read it will be a great upgrade.
Of course, none of that answered your question... |

thanks for the replies. rechat talked me into getting Reason a while back and I'm thinking it's about time to take the dive. sounds like a fun software.

Sounds a very good deal to me. All you need to start is there. Except a soundcard and a computer |
