Christian Stream

Hey, what an awesome site. I'm betting you've been working on this for some time too.

First off, I would really enjoy a christian music station but can't see how to set a station up. I'm new so maybe I'm missing some details I should be reading.

Also, I'd liek to run that station block on my site and yes its phpnuke.

Any advice/help? Laughing

I have actually been planning a christian radio station for some time. I have had some requests for an Unsigned Christian Channel. Currently our database of christian artists is fairly small. For a radio station to be interesting, I think it needs to have a longer playlist than what ours would have if I added it today. So basically I'm waiting until we have more christian artists, then I'll add the station. To that end, if you know of any, PLEASE TELL THEM ABOUT THIS SITE!!!! LOL Laughing

Well, certainly having volume is important. I've gone thru the christian genre and have enjoyed the music I've heard. I do have several indie bands and yes I'd like to push them this way. I've already pulled down the script for phpnuke, that's really how I found you. It works great.

Once you get the station up I'd like to stream it on http://www.jrtx.com

Until then I'll see if I can't contribute some bands to your site.

Hey,

I noticed the comment that there were not enough Christian artists here to set up a tasty playlist for a radio station.
My music is categorized "electronica" (that's what it is) but at the same time almost all of my tracks are based on the Bible and revolve around scripture.

I'm wondering if there is anything I can do in the way of a "double" genre tag?
I would hate to limit my audience to those only looking for "Christian" music. However, if I could get my stuff in the list for a Christian radio station it would be great.

hi herb!!!

Currently there is not a way to do 'double' genre duty, although I hope to add that option in the future.
