I don't have worms but have met plenty who have.
AVG 7, and Spybot Search and Destroy are great tools for any one with a virus, trojan or worms etc.
Upgrading virus data base regularly is the key. I've met 3 people in 2 weeks who've spent big $$ to have them removed when it all can be done at home.
Defragmenting every 3 mths. or so is great for freeing up space and increasing the overall speed of
the pc.
That said , it's time now for a whiskey |

I'd add to try out Avast virus software also in addition to Spybot and Adaware. Using non-standard software (other than MS Outlook or MS Internet Explorer) will tend to protect you some too as alot of viruses are designed to attack those platforms.
