Im currently recording in my studio with the illustrious David Robert Bridge and we had the idea of having a long solo section in one of the songs which would have all of our guitar playing freinds playing a short (4-8 bar) solo.
Here's the idea. I thought why not have an international collaberation whereby we record the track and post it on the site, you guys download it and record a short solo in the right bit. U could then send the solo to me and the best submissions could be put on the final version of the track . I know this is feasable but i dont know if anyones up for it.
Tell me what you think, it could be fun.

I'll get Ugo on it (our guitarist). I reckon he'd be up for it. PM me the details on how you wanna do it - Think you may need to recieve the files with a "minimum quality" in order to work with them. Let me know... |

or post them to a location we can download them. getting them back may be trickier esp. if we're posting back high q audio (WAV, etc...). might need to use some encoder to compact them - RAR or FLAC... |

There shouldn't be an issue of quality as the wave file will only need to be reasonalbly short (8 bars - 30 seconds ish). which should be less than 1 mb on 16bit - 44.100Khz.
Im glad u guys are interested and ill keep you posted |

I'd be interested in firing up the PC and dusting off the mics . Now whether I could come up with something interesting....that'd be another story.
