I would rather people find fault with the stuff I do rather than give it applause. There's faults in everyone's music, and the more BOOOOOOOS you get may break you, but if ya dedicated will do more harm than good.
Like I said....completley abolish the possibility of voting for your own tracks..as I did accidently... I was just trying to see what the voting points where...didn't realise it'd register before pressing an OK, which never appeared.
But don't forget, votes arn't everything. More people downloaded my tracks than voted. And it's the downloads we should all keep an eye on...now that's make an interested chart..just based on downloads. |
You misunderstood.....I think there should be more criticism.... Honest criticism.
Yes there are falts in everyones music and especially my own. but I would rather hear
suggestions or falts like The vocals are flat or your out of tune.....Rather than man" that sounds awesome that is great you really hit it with that one...Good job..
It's all about helping each other out.... With honest criticsm that's the only way.
I mean no harm.. That's just what I see |
Ya can ask for reviews to unproject, sticky at the top of the review thread.

Yes sticky.... But more than one person's review would be better... You do give good reviews though... |

Your neglish is way better than most of our Frentch
As with the open criticism thing, I think there already is. However since there's nearly 1000 members plus guests here, only a portion voice their ideas and thoughts in the forums.
There's ample room for all genres to let ourselves be known and invite fair criticism of our music because if it's not good to listen to, one way or another we'll find out.
Voting for yourself defeats the purpose of music. We all want to hear good constructive comments and there are heaps of artists here to do just that. For me the technical side of things is like 'Oh my god, what does that mean? ' So you gotta ask questions even if it means you temporarily look like a dumbarse so long as ya learn something from it.
Given the large amount of new songs each day, we could have a random new song option for every log-in where we pass comment. Like "ImL, would you please listen to this new song by ..."
But on saying that, we would need some modifying for who listens to what. I do not do barbershop music at all!
Just talk to people in the forums and forget the 'click' thing, just cut in to conversations and be as serious or random as ya want. Everyone here is so friendly and supportive it's awesome to have new artists adding their bit. Get your self known and be listened to because that's why we are all here
That's way too much talking |
