Hey Everyone,

Thanks for making Dropped D and Starside stay high on the rock charts for so long!

I have a new song called Harper's Folly. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Hi David!!!

Really like the new tune! The recording is fantastic, and the song really rocks!!!

In particular, I thought the guitar harmonies sounded really good.

Awesome to hear your new tune!

Take care,
Ron

DROP D

superb, great sound, love the no holds barred diving style, love the rock, love the blues stylings, truly rocking...

STARSIDE

vai without the pretence, love it. got an egyptian style bridgey bit thats cool as hell, love where it goes towards the end and the solo's awesome...

CRYING

once again excellent, really nice and great solo at the end...

HARPERS FOLLY

cool riffing but the harmony chorus bit really makes it rise somewhere else. again like the bluesy feel to the main riff...

all in all, really impressed with all of it, cool production on everything, great arrangements, and this is coming from someone who tends to find instrumental work boring these days... excelllent

David - wow! the new tune cooks. the multing on the gtr parts is very tight and subtle in parts. really cool sound that is new to me. other parts more traditional multing that works well too. You do a great job in all of your tunes of making things interesting throughout. you write songs - not just jams - and it definitely pays off in listenability.

I don't rate out many 5's on this website, can probably count them on my fingers, but I gave this a 5. I really like what you did here. The only thing that confused me was the ending, but I can live with that. <g>

could you convert your songs to lo-fi please? -I want to hear what the hypes about but an old internet connection makes it impossible on hi-quality tracks as it stops playing and rebuffers every 2 seconds - would really appreciate it bro. Ta much Wink

Soulish - Sorry man. I ran out of room for my page and I'm too broke to upgrade so I can put it up on lofi.

Smili - This version is a demo. The drums at the end are going to be half as long with some cool delay and flanging effects.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. Keep them comming. I need the feedback.

hey david, somehow i missed this post but never late for some feedback eh..

well ok, i just hit "reply" without reading the title of the new track and i am too lazy to scroll down to see which one's new, also i have a friggin bad memory to remember if i commented any of your tunes... so... gonna listen 'em all and tell ya what i think

harper's folly : yes! great beginning, diggin the guitar riff's very much. excellent written beats, good job on rides. i can imagine axl rose singing over it, awesome tune man!

dropped d : again solid production quality, snares may be use a little eq'in to fit in the mix better though. badass solo's, diggin the bass also. this one sounds f*ckin pro as well

starside : i was just gonna type "this one's chord progression wasn't my cup of tea" but then around 1:00ish it totally changed my idea. this has a bit harder feeling than the others, loved the solo near the end. good stuff!

crying : great melodies in this one, acoustic guitars sound a little weird to my ears though like they have too much reverb or something... lead guitar just rocks. all in all quality composition!

peace
