k, lemme listen them
february snow : awesome recording and mix quality, it would be a tad louder though, diggin the guitars, nice panning on 'em. vox remind me something but i can not remember what (very helpful comment yes?) nice job on the beats as well, diggin ya drumkit
overall great tune, definitely enjoyed this vibe, excellent harmony
ain't nobody : dunno, that rain sound is sampled a bit weird, sounds cheesy compared to the rest of the song. loving the guitar riffs in this one, nice vox again. acoustic guitars may use some eq'ing though, kinda too soft or something. oh nice bass, diggin it surely. well done part on 3:30ish, good stuff
overall i dig this one a bit better, awesome tune, very emotional
keep 'em coming!
peace. |

February Snow......Vocals remind me of Chrisse Hynde. This is definetley a class song. Some really fine lyrics in there. Agree it could be a little louder, and does seem to fade a little during the instrumental. I don't know if it was intentional but the drums seem a little too prominent to me, drowning out the guitars and bass. But like I said...darn fine song.
Ain't Nobody....Like the intro to this. The "jazzy-type" vocals at the beginning where cool. This IS the better of the two. Everything in good balance. |
