Michael Frazier reviews - Space Junk - Geof
Definitely a unique sound for this listener. I do appreate you exposing me to some new and interesting sounds. I don't think I'm qualified to provide much more feedback though. Negative energy music just does not work for me. I can live with negative information just not negative sound. It upsets my body chemistry. Sorry guys - you'll have to look somewhere else for that constructive feedback. I just can't handle it. Michael. |

Hey there Dave, remember you as well. Michael |
Thank you Michael, you really didn't have to review my songs but I do appreciate your kind words, especially since electronic music isn't really your musical preference. Mostly just welcoming you here!
cheers,

Well, anyone else want to have a go at giving a Spacejunk song their critique?

Michael, I think it is a tad odd that you couldnt provide any feedback whatsoever. Surely it is not that evil? Is it? |

Michael Frazier reviews Spidey & The Webs - Suzie Sweathog
Hey guys, sorry about the wait. I'd given this review thing up for dead and just happened to check in and you brought it back to life. Thanks for the request.
Funny stuff and great musicianship. Love those guitar and mandolin licks they're hot - wish I could do that. Personally I'd go around on the instruments after the chorus so it could stand by itself a bit more. I'd also keep those second part Suzie Sweathog vocals a bit more back in the mix at least on the second time around. Otherwise I like the flow of the tune and the mix isn't too bad. Vocals have the right quality for something fun like this. The lead feels a bit off time to me. There's obvious musical talent here and some decent lyric writing. I had fun listening but I bet not as much fun as you guys had doing this one. Best to you all and thanks for the listen. Michael. |

Hey Martin thanks for posting your request. Very interesting beginning. I love the way you slowly weave the guitar to the forefront after starting with the keyboard part. The spoken vocal works really well and is quite interesting and ear catching. I wish you had the lyrics posted though as the vocals feel a bit buried to me and I sense they are quite good. Cool lead stuff though my favorite is the great style you display on the acoustic. Very clean and clear and excellent riffs. You obviously have a lot of passion and talent for the acoustic and like you say on your page are pretty good at most anything. Overall instrumentation is very solid and vocals fit nicely with the above caviats. I like the groove of the tune - had me moving when the acoustic first came in and the changes are well done. Overall I very much enjoyed the listen. Thanks Martin, and best to you and your musical endeavors. Michael. |

it would be great to get some feedback from people on this site!!
Failing that, there are about 4 others on our home page, I've only just uploaded to here at work, so I've only got "Transmission" here!

Thank you micheal for your comments. They are very useful and i'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm going to try and bring the vocals up a bit in that one. Its very easy to bury them when you know the lyrics and my accent. I have to try and accomodate other peoples ears.
Things are looking good at the moment. Slowley putting a band together. Been reviewed in sound on sound this month amongst other things.
Thanks again for the comments
Cheers
