Hello!

I got 2 PA speakers that I can't identify. There's no signs or so on the outside of the speaker cabinets. What I guess is that they are 'homemade'.

I opened one of the cabinets to identify the "speakers". What I found was:
- 1 of http://www.usspeaker.com/Kappa-15-1.htm (8 ohm version)
- 1 of http://www.thomann.de/se/monacor_mhd120.htm (where it says "100W max./8ohm" on the backside)
- and 3 small speakers that i couldn't identify, but they look like those small speakers on the upper side of

I hope that made any sense, but my question is: What amplifier should fit to these 2 PA speakers?

Thanks.

You can pick up a 200w Power amp from Maplin Electronics relatively cheap, around 200w. I would also all ways ensure that you have more RMS power in your amp than in your speaker but do be sure not to exceed the CLIP lights on the Amp!

We have 3 of the Pro-Sound 200w Amps and find them virtually indestructible!

If you are running the 15" cabs also you may find a 1000w+ amp may be more effective per 2 speakers. Pro Sound again make these, however the 1600's are unreliable. I would go for Crown or Kam...
