Hey all, I've been out for the past week, but I just noted Rose Reiter posted a new tune "Watching" a few days ago. She's one of the favorite vocalists I've come across on the site (I'm a Rose Reiter fan). Some of the melodic changes in this song remind me alot of a couple of the songs on Paula Cole's first album. Nice doubled/tripled vocal parts.

Oh me god.
What a voice I want to marry her.
That first track Phantoms is really gorgeous. Such a sultry voice and wonderful piano playing.
Watching is playing now.
The synths add a very dark mood to this.
The vocals again are outsatnding. The backing vocals are supurb. That is true talent.
I'm now a fan me thinks.
Go listen NOW |

Yeah, Phantoms is excellent. She really is a "class above". She has the kind of voice that makes me buy albums. I have several Sarah McLachlan albums and Rose's voice put me in that same "place" when I listened to phantoms. It's the kind of voice that can carry a song, and the voice that can carry an entire album.
