Maria/Gary don't get me wrong - I don't know that there's anything _wrong_ with the high frequency. My wife listens to some Enya stuff that has that same sizzle, and your tune reminded me some of that. It could very well be exactly what you're going for. Don't let me talk you out of it if you like it. The hi freqs just stood out when I listened...
Hi Freq thoughts:
EQ thing - are you boosting the high freqs when you record or mix? I often put some hi freq boost/air on the upper freqs of some instruments (aco guitars) and and sometimes vocals, but I have to be careful with it because of the type of music I do. R&B music in particular puts a ton of whispy/airiness in the vocals similar to what this song has. You can change the EQ curve on some of the tracks if you feel there's too much hi freq.
Reverb - which this song has - can allow the high frequencies to build up. But with the reverb also comes alot of the cool mood that you have created in the song. Some reverbs will allow you to set the damping frequencies that can limit reverberation of the hi freqs. I think the reverb may be the source of the hi freq here.
Again - don't let me talk you out of your sound if you like it. I'm just one ear of many

We were thinking about changing mic?? .....So how would you suggest getting around the sizzle?

Thanks for that smili...We didn't get you wrong We like the enya thought/effect, we thought you were on about the recording quality when you mentioned sizzle..Thanks for the tip, we'll have a play with the Eq on our next song. There are certain areas in recording that we are not too sure on, we want depth but also that whispyness (hence reverb/echo). Its just learning to get it right, so alll help greatly appreciated
Everyones comments so far... lovely, awesome, beautiful, getting lost in the song...thanks guys... so, (rethinks..Hmm??) maybee its just us -being too critical about our music .LOl
