Hey there,
Totally dig what I'm hearing...inspires me to write some of my own stuff. Anyway, I listen to the radio a lot and wish I could see the artist name and song title while in Windows Media Player...how hard would it be to throw the tags on there so we could see that stuff?
I heard a song on the radio and now I can't find who it was...very cool...almost Cold Play esque.... |

Thanks for the feedback, and for listening to our radio stations!
The name & song title should show, they do in mine. Occasionally i will get a 'play', and I think that has to do with cache. I usually use windows media player.
I used ITUNES for awhile and that fixed the problem, so it must be a bug with media player.
I will look into it further to see if there's anything more we can do to minimize this.
Take care!

I think it depends on whether or not the artist adds the ID3 tags when they create the mp3 file. |

I think you're right about the tags... |

The system will try to read the tags, and if they are not there, it will use the information the artists enter when they uploaded the song.
There is a random bug with windows media player that causes the occasional 'play' to show instead of the song and band name!
Thanks for the feedback!!! I will keep pursuing a fix for the windows media player bug.

Ron, i'm not sure but I think you're right about a media player bug. I think sometimes it just doesn't show song info. It might be id tags, but I think I've downloaded some songs that have i.d tags on them that aren't shown in windows media player (for whatever reason). |
