You guys are going to love this: Evil or Very Mad

I use a single Yamaha QY-70 sequencer, ran directly to my PC. No fancy mastering software, no digital effects, just pure unadulterated analog sequencing!

Check out the tracks here:

This is an interesting thread, especially seeing how many use stuff similar to me. Okay, let's see, major items:

Dell XPS P4 3.0GHz, 1GB DDR SDRAM, Creative Audigy 2 soundcard
Cakewalk Sonar 4 Producer Edition
Cakewalk Project5
Native Instruments Absynth 2
Propellerhead Reason 2.5 (with Reason Drum Kits and LAFS Virtuoso Violin refills)
rgcaudio z3ta+
MusicLab RealGuitar 1.5

And like U4eA I write all my stuff in either the staff or piano roll views in Sonar since I also don't have any keyboards. I do have a Takamine F-350M acoustic, an Epiphone Chet Atkins CE classic electric, and a Fernandes Nomad Deluxe which I never seem to play anymore because I'm always writing stuff in Sonar, but at least I can use the guitar fretboard view in Sonar and know what I'm doing with it..... Very Happy

Yeah, that's so much fun! Very Happy I usually use the piano roll view for writing drums. Let me know if you like this keyboard, I've been looking at that and a few others trying to decide if I want to get one....

Im having problems getting windows to regonize it, it cant seem to remember what it is after i reboot. maybe this is cause im running through the usb port instead of midi. I havent really messed with it too much, but it works great when i have used it. A think a couple trips to the forums and i will be fine. If you are buying something new, i would recommend something that is made to be compatible with windows xp (if thats what you are running)...and i should have bought more keys Razz
