Thanks for the positive feedback on our artist block!!!!!

Which portal is phpBB based on? Is it similar to Nuke?

I'm wondering if nuke blocks would work on your site?

If not, it wouldn't be too hard to make a little pop-up window to play our stations.

Let me know and we'll get something sorted out!

Take care,
Ron

Sorry for the delay Mav... Here is the PHP code, let me know if it works. I'll want to change the header and may include it some sites that feature IM portal blocks...

Great stuff!!!! I tried adding to a block on my site. Small personal site that I always test first before my bigger site. I added your php to the blocks.

http://shanerdoyle.com/forum/portal.php

Getting errors though. I use integramod as my software for the site.

Let me know if you can clear up the code so I can get some props to you guys!!!

Jaxstraw,

It looks like your block is interpreting the code as html instead of php. Maybe that's the default for the phpbb portal? You can convert the code to straight html to make it work properly.

Take care!

Ron-

I had the block as HTML. I changed it to bbcode and I'm getting just the same text as here. Can you tell me how to chnage the text you have to HTML? How do I convert?

Hello all,

Just an FYI,

I just saw this thread and I thought I would use the code given above even though I wasn't running plain phpBB. It showed up but before the two little right arrows I get " ;; ;; ;; ;; ;; " displaying. and before each of the genres I got a ; ;.

So I edited out those semi colons and it seems to work (streams) and display fine (not sure whether or not it would be considered a "cpgnuke secure block") and it looks good! You can check it out at www.steelandmagick.com.

I am running CPGNuke 8.02c (a secure version of phpNuke).
