Older folk-popper here. Please check out whether these songs in the oven are done or half-baked! Tell me what you think about any tune.

nice song but give more accent and phrasing (high and low volume, time flow ect) on vocals.

the song is nice but it need a more bit dynamic touch.

try too make a bit more original style that will make your music unique.

this is the key of success believe me.

if you are a newbie this is a good performance for sure.

Please I hope you don't take this the wrong way. You need some help with your vocal work. The song and lyrics are worth the ride. You may want to colaborate or work with another vocalist to help bring your music to life. If you like doing music, then it's worth perfecting it as much as you can. -rl

I normally don't post unless I generally like a song and try to be constructive, but from your profile it seems you're seeking honest reviews so here goes. I listened to your songs but the vocal execution made them sortof tough to listen to for me. (I have a terrible time singing so I understand the frustration that comes with not being able to execute what your mind hears).

first thing I'd recommend: work on your singing. Your songs might come alive with better vocal execution. focus on pitch, and commitment to the lyric (too timid as is).

musically I'm not going to say alot because there's so many different things going on out there musically that it's increasingly difficult to generalize. I will say I liked some of the interesting chord progressions in songs 2 and 3, but in general I'd say try to reinforce songs with strong structure and strong melodic hook. If you feel the music meandering try to see what you can do to tighten it down.

just my $0.02 which ain't worth much! cheers,

Thanks - both above helpful comments ( and not unknown...am taking voice lessons ). I just posted a much more produced demo called "Penny Up" which also has vocal issues but you may also find more accessible! -FJE
