New York, NY - October 27, 2009 - Livekick, the live concerts recommendation and tickets search engine that helps music fans never miss a live concert again, today introduced City Guides, comprehensive local live concert listings that offer anyone the ability to find concerts in their area by venue, music genre, or by calendar view. Livekick also today introduced Price Alerts and Genre search features that make it even easier for music fans to find concerts and buy tickets at the lowest available price. Anyone can use Livekick for free, as a guest or as a registered user, at www.livekick.com.

Livekick's City Guides, available for every major city in the United States, give music fans a local view of the live concerts taking place near them. The search options available on each City Guide page, including search by venue, music genre, and calendar view, make it easy for Livekick users to quickly discover concerts of interest to them, including concerts taking place tonight. Links to City Guides nationwide are available on the Livekick homepage, at www.livekick.com.

"Creating localized, dynamic City Guides was a natural next step for us as we help music fans nationwide never miss a live concert again," said Yarden Tadmor, co-founder of Livekick. "City Guides offer music fans a very local experience on Livekick, and with our introduction of Price Alerts and Genre search, we are making it even easier to discover concerts and be among the first to know when ticket prices drop."

Livekick users can set up Price Alerts to be notified via email when tickets to a specific concert become available at a set price and/or quantity. On any concert listing page, a user can click on "alert me" to enter ticket price and/or ticket quantity and set up email notification. When the ticket price drops below the level set by the user, or when the quantity of tickets the user is looking for are found, Livekick will send an email notification with the information. Livekick provides near real-time updated ticket-pricing information from the most popular ticket web sites.

Genre search give music fans the ability to look for concerts by music genres such as rock, electronic, pop, folk, DJ, or others. Registered Livekick users can also receive recommendations on additional genres and specific artists they may appreciate based on their existing list of favorite artists.

Web site developers can use the free Livekick API, available at http://livekick.com/api/ to add rich, local and up-to-date concerts and tour information to their web applications.
