thanks man.
i've just listened to your stuff and though im not sure i would normally listen to this kind of stuff out of choice, it was kind of hard to resist, so that's a good sign haha. great voice (nice tone and vibrato) and production.
thumbs up

I love it. I downloaded it, if that's okay. I'm new to the site, and hope the rest of what I find is of this quality. Sort of reminds me of Velvet Underground when Nico sings.
Keep doing what you're doing. |

Listened to White Wires.
Really dig the intro, and the instrumentation during the first verse. Very melodic and pretty. And the lead line that comes in after the initial vocals is nice too.
My only gripe: I'm okay with dual vocals, but I think you should try varying overlapping vocal melodies in my opinion. The ones you did sound very similar, kind of like you sand the same part dubbed twice.
Really like the vocalization later in the song, the outro I believe. Cool song, you've got a good voice, but in my opinion more varied vocal harmonies would strengthen your overall sound.
Overall, I really liked it. Good job!

thanks for the advice gnarwhal, i think i get what you mean, the harmonies lock and move with each other too rigidly? plenty of parts are just doubletracked, so im assuming you don't mean those...
see what you think of the others if you liked it though, and thanks for listening! |

"Furtherance" -- hey, I know this dreamy style! Not unlike my own "Cellphone".
Two minor points...if you make another pass at this the vocal needs to start WAY sooner than :38; I thought it was an endless loop! And (sharing a criticism of me) even a one-groove song like this can stand more dynamics. Its a good tune, keep going!
with best of intentions,

hey, thanks for the comments. in defence of the lengthy intro, it's a demo intended to be passed onto extra band members, so it's mainly just to introduce the basic song. more dynamics and extra instrumentation are indeed lacking.
i'll find your page now.
cheers,
