OurStage has channels for all genres of music. So if you're an unsigned/indie band, artist, or musician - you're invited!!!
If you're not familiar with OurStage, here some some facts:
*** It costs you nothing to be on OurStage and participate each month. Totally free, forever and always.
*** OurStage is the democratic competition where the fans decide who's the best in emerging entertainment. We help solve the greatest challenge on the Internet today: sorting quality content from the sea of mediocrity online. In our trustworthy environment, the judgment of the fans drives the best to the top.
Note: We believe it's critically important that the OurStage rankings reflect the true wisdom of the community by being free of gaming. It is one of the most unique things about our site differentiating us from the scores of other sites that are unable to separate quality from the noise. So on OurStage the artists in each channel are presented at random (each equally), to prevent gaming, and to give every artist a fair shot to be compared to every other artist. We know it's different and we know it asks more of our community to do it this way but we believe the results are worth it.
*** Each month we award $5,000 to the highest ranked song, and $1,000 to the highest ranked video. Other monthly opportunities include things such as: other cash prizes, studio time, mentoring sessions with industry leaders, and chances to play live at events/shows/festivals. We have amazing collection of gig/playing opportunities available for winning artists (NoisePop, SXSW, 10KLakes, BumberShoot). We promote our winning artists in video, press releases, and follow-up interviews. This isn't a one-time deal.
If it's free, how does OurStage earn the revenue to offer this service, and award these prizes?
It's completely free to the artist, and to the fan. We do not, at any point, charge any of our members any fees. OurStage is currently funded through sponsorships and partnerships in the entertainment industry, and by private investment from individuals interested in the future of the music industry and independent music.

*** You keep the rights to any material you submit. There is no sharing, sending, giving or stealing of your property - Period! If you want to sell your music it's your call. We offer you the opportunity to sell your music from OurStage. However, this is optional. If you choose to go with this option, you will be asked for a PayPal address. This is how you will be paid. If this doesn't interest you, be sure NOT to select it while registering. If you do choose this option, and change your mind, you can opt out at any time simply by editing your profile preferences.
Below is the link that will take you directly to the registration page on the OurStage website. Shortly after registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to activate your account. Once activated, you'll be able to upload your work, and enter into channel competitions. All members can enter 1 channel (competition) per month. If you submit 3+ tracks, you can enter up to 3 channels per month.
