yes... a sad day, i had heard that he played at that place almost every night,
too bad i never saw him play live....Long Live Les Paul, and now, long Live My "Les Paul" 'cause it may increase in value...lol

we were lucky we had him around for so long. i actually didn't know a lot about him outside his music, but was surprised to learn that he invented multi-track recording. that's what the NPR said anyhow. my respect for him increased 10-fold after that.
