Bathed in oblivion I found a soul that searched for me and didn't recognize me when I saw him.
In this path of obstacles and tender ground ready to collapse, I saw the dismantled face of finding.
The lesson learned was that time changes everything and makes it all seem worthless. But it's just the path and the way it should be.
Nothing is personal and it all hits the heart and emotions take the part of illusion. A battle not worth fighting and a conclusion never found.
Denial is sometimes the healer of truth.
I saw you for the last time and thought I waited for this a long time and now perspective finds me with a level head and I know now that I'm good without you.
Thank you for the light. Now let me sleep in darkness. -rl |
