Hello,
I have 2 songs on www.soundclick.com/raisingjason that I would like some feedback, I know the production is not that good, but the recording source is limited, so keep that in mind, just need some feedback on the overall songs themselves.

Gunner.... (Raising Jason)
The songwriting quality on both songs is good. Obviously, as you mentioned, the recording quality doesn't do them justice. I think with a decent recording both songs would be great.
 I sell my sorrow.... has a nice bluesy rock feel to it. The singer has a good voice for this genre, and the guitar riff is nice. It sounds like a lot of the classic rock I grew up listening to. Good potential....
Darkness Falls..... I sense a STRONG scorpions influence here. The guitarist has a really nice tone to his solo's, and he sounds very talented. With a nice recording, this too would make a nice song. Also the bassist seems to go out of tune a couple of times... (maybe this was a live recording???) I definately sense where your trying to go though, and I think it's also got potential.
 From a song perspective, I think both songs have potential, you just need to work on the recording, as you already mentioned. You know.... You can get digital 4-track recorders for under $300 these days. LOL... Took me awhile before I got mine too!!!! Thanks for bringing your songs! |

Thanks for your review,
Money is tight these days and to buy a 4 track would be dificult,
however, looking into ebay and hopefully will aquire one.
Thanks for the compliment on my guitar work, its nice to hear things like that especially since ive been playing for 20+ years.
