Hey guys - could you check out a shortened version of one of the songs we are recording..its been mixed so check it out at

www.myspace.com/iampresidentspace

Could you let me know what you think please?? I need all the constructive critism I can get - I dont like the double vocals so that will be changed in the next mix

Lyrics are

Grounded with no control
Held back from all my goals
My head is broken in two
My mind is all about you

Chorus

I'll Draw the Line for you
So give me the time and room
I'll Draw the Line for you
So set me free

Your a color for the Blind
Untamed like a wild fire
Lit by my heart and soul
Embrace it or let it go

Chorus

(c)

Hope your all well

Yeah, I think PPB is right! Try playing with EQs a bit and filter it out.

But I do like the tune. It's got a "The Who" feel to it! Smile

Cheers for the feedback!

I really apreciate it!

We did it at a budget studio in 3 hours - I want to make alot of changes to the vocals and we cut the last verse after the solo so that might of made it seem a bit shorter.

i'm the singer/songwriter and guitarist and havent been singing long so very humbled that you think the vox is satisfactory...long long long way to go before Im any good!

All the best Very Happy

good up-tempo rock. Your vocals are fine, I actually also like their doubling. The mix isn't too great but I couldn't tell what's missing or wrong. Well, you've had feedback on that.

I'm confident that we'll hear more from you.

Good luck!

I like your clear, transparent sound. And I agree with your approach not to mash it up by layers of guitars, keyboards etc. (one of the things I love about AC/DC). The mix is a bit sharp to my ears.

Good luck to you,
Bernd

I know what you mean - I insisted on no effects or keyboards - I like the simple aproach - theres a rythm guitar in there so the solos dont sound empty. Huge fan of AC DC - they are amazing and their albums are never "overdone" like some rock bands do. Take care

Energetic and baudy. I like it. The vocals are the weak link. A little unemotional for my taste. But my head was bobbin from beat one. COOL

3 hours isn't enought for a complete studio workback stage, 5 hours are a very minimun in my opinion.

However i know the @♦Úô price of pro studio...

you should just take a good pc and work it while 6 to 8 hours with canals and subtracktor, acid stage, very last eqz and compressor ect mastering.

i know the pain in the back when we want it good !

We really need to be posting music on this site from this site for review consideration. It's not much to ask from any artist wanting a review. Without uploading your music on this site and wanting something in return is like a free sampling of ice creme from one store and buying it from another. It's easy and free to join this site and will also let you load up 2-3 songs. If you need more space, just upgrade. it won't break the bank and you have options on the level you need to be at. This is a great site to get noticed on. -rl
