Other than "terminal disease" and similar tries to emulate ordinary pop/rock music this is meant like it is. If you should think "well this is some kind of corny folk music" that is because it is meant to be. My guitar clatters once or twice. Maybe I should rehearse a little more. On the other side it makes it sounds like live - because it is (I only played the song twice in my life, this was the second time).
The structure is simple: two variations of the verse alternate like in Irish folk tunes. No chorus, no bridge.
Unfortunately, several hundred or thousand klicks don't tell me what people actually think of what they'd heard. Therefore, I am still interested in your opinions. |
