Hey I just got done producing a band and I want to get some feedback. I'm new to this forum but I've been looking around and listening to some stuff. It seems like a good place and I have read a lot of good feedback. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to check out these tunes.

Honestly, I'm pretty sick of this pop punk sound in general, but I actually liked this stuff. Had some Husker Du/Ramones kind of vibes that take it out of the ultra polished punk bands that saturate the radio today. The mixing is good too, lots of clarity and still manages to have an edge of lo-fi that fits very well. Hope that was intentional |

Thanks for taking time to listen to my songs. I'm glad you like them. And about your Southtown Avengers..."New Disaster" I liked most. It reminds me of the best days of Punk. A sort of a "Green Day's" pattern, which I personally like. Rock on!

Thank you both very much for listening!
jwhitted: I'm pretty sick of the pop punk stuff too that's why when we were producing this we were trying to stay away from that. It's still pretty poppy, and pretty punk-ish, but yeah I really love stuff like Husker Du and The Ramones and bringing the this band down to a little more lo-fi is exactly what we were going for. We all hate stuff like Fall Out Boy, and crap like that and while this is some poppy punk-ish stuff we wanted to keep it away from that very polished sound.
vidyps79: Thank you for the comments and listening to the songs. I appreciate it.
There is a whole albums worth of songs that is coming out...soon I think. Hopefully there will be more up for y'all to listen to. |
