Good looking mix Ron! I likes...
I can (and will eventually) make a strong case for Fugazi being the best band of the 90's, best and most important punk band since The Clash. Hell, my band is named after a Fugazi song, which should let you know how we feel about them. |

It's really hard to articulate how much respect I have for Fugazi....
What they've been able to do without major label support is nothing short of incredible. I actually grew up listening to Minor Threat.. Then followed Ian to Embrace.... and then to Fugazi....
I would say during my heyday I spent 5-6 hours a day listening to Fugazi. The music is really timeless. I still listen to all their stuff regularly. My old band used to play a few minor threat and fugazi songs at parties. The music is SOOOOOO much fun to play.
I read on Dischord yesterday that they are taking a break now, but that the rumors of a breakup were untrue. I hope so.... I would really like to think we'll be seeing a few more albums out of them!
There's hope for us 30 somethings as long as Fugazi is still pushing the envelope.....
