Hey everyone! I thought it'd be time to announce that my music's out there still for anybody who didn't hear about it in the first place! I LOVE hearing what people have to say about my music (good or bad, let's just keep any criticism on the constructive level) so please, if you listen to it (and I really hope you do), let me know what you thought either by commenting here or by emailing me directly at jmaisie@gmail.com
The songs I have available are:
"Release Me," a alow, deeper song about political corruption and society's hold on every individual.
"Away, Away," an upbeat grungey acoustic track about hopelessness and the impossibility to gain one's footing again.
"As Bright As You," an upbeat tune that was made when I put a lot of words that rhyme together. =/
"Careening," originally a hardcore, lo-fi punk song about losing a grip on reality and having to let go of everything, modified for my acoustic sets (explicit Lyrics).

I'm listening to your songs now. Really nice "lo-fi" acoustic feeling, kind of like early americana recordings.

Decent tune you got here. Guitar is a bit high endy - some eq on the recording would help. Iwish you had the lyrics posted - I like to follow along to get the full impact of the message. Solid song construction and nice execution on both the guitar and vocal. You certainly point to some of what is wrong in the world today. Not just America - the world.

2. Good voice
3. Bad mixing & production
Go to a studio and you will have good songs.
