Quite cool. But, I'd rather call it a soft metal.  Pretty much energy burnin' inside.

I know you didn't ask for reviews but since you're in this forum, I'll put my 2 cents in.
"Runaway" has an Alice Cooper feel to it and is very 80's hair band sound. Not a bad song at all but has issues in over compression. All the dynamics have been squashed out so it's a little fatiguing.
"Forever In My Dreams" Great low end on the bass. It really glues this track together. I also like the seperation of the background guitars. Nice wide open feeling. Lead vox was over compressed again. Are you guys in the loudness wars? Loud mixes are not musical but fatiguing. There's a volume knob for the listener if they want something louder.
"Sleepless Nights" Nice mix over all I just wish the lead vox was more forward. Someone really loves to squash the heck out of your mixes.
"Torn Apart" A good take on angry rock. It sounds a little dated but I enjoyed it none the less. Great sinister laugh...
And for my favorite "Keep Walking" I like the "guns and roses" feel to this song. The synth really is quite nice.
I think you guys have a good thing going as a band. I would like to hear more originality and experimenting in your work and far less compression on the mixes. Especially in the lead vocals. The over all sound quality is excellent though. -rl |
