LISTEN
So my friends and I started a totally new band and are working on our sound before we record or play a show. A bunch of my bandmates are under 21 and don't really have a lot of money lying around for studio rent, nice amps, recording money, etc. My friend told me I should open up a gift registry for the band.
I started it on MyRegistry.com. Now our friends and fans WITH money can help us out in any way they can. Even supportive parents can contribute. We have a cash fund for our studio rent money and I put a few Zidjian sybols and amps on it as well. Cool idea and you may get all the equipment and funding you need for a starting band through a gift registry!
FYI - You dont have to pay for one and its public- so even if you have a secret fan admirer- you can get more stuff! |
