From our recent recording session with Seattle's Conrad Uno (Presidents of the U.S., Mudhoney, The Posies and More!)

Thanks

I like the sound, think the song itself is a bit short.

yeah, for the hype, was expecting a bit more. to be exact, i was first expecting A LOT more energy than the track has. i'm a big fan of Mudhoney, and the other bands you listed all had a lot of energy in the recording. i also didn't really think it "rocked" all that much. there are lots of little lulls and such that completely eat away at any energy you're trying to build. it was at the MTV site, so i wasn't expecting all that much anyhow. unfortunately, i thin Uno took what could be a pretty good track and made it about as uninteresting as possible. it's like he made you all sound really, really amateur, but the structure of the track (aside from the painful lulls) suggests that you probably have a pretty good set of some interesting music. aside from the lack of energy, it might also be in part due to the shitty speakers my parents have for their PC. i'll probably take a listen to it tomorrow when i get back home to my project studio to see if my opinion still holds fast. sounds like you definitely have potential and a unique approach to songwriting which always gets points in my book.

so, in short, it's not at all a bad song...it's just with all the hype and also being familiar with some of Uno's work, there seemed to be more hype than substance. but hey, that's half the battle nowadays.

if you have some, post some more links to some other tracks you have floating around the tubes that constitutes the internets as our old currupt friend Ted Stevens would have said! lol best of luck to you all and be sure to post review requests in the "Song Reviews" forum to get a higher number of responses. you're music is definitely worth checking out, so i'm going to go ahead and move it to that forum but leave a shadow link here as well so people can find you more easily. Cool
