Man that acoustic sounds so crisp and clean......is it directly into the PC or is it mic'd?
as far as the tune, reminds me alot of Neil Young, no offense...lol
but, sounds really good, man that guitar sounds good.....

Hi Gunner,

Thanks for your comments - I appreciate you taking the time to listen!

The guitar is a Yamaha APX500 with direct input and knackered out strings. Glad you like the sound.

I'm the right age for Neil Young's influence...

Hi Gunner,

Since you are a guitar man (as are many others here) - I've posted up a song about an early love affair - with a guitar - which you might find comical - it's a bit soppy - but there you are!

Thanks for your comment Gunner!

No - I'm not Dave. I used to 'baby-sit' with my mate for his brother-in-law Dave and his wife who were a few years older - they would go out for the night and we were left to play with his Ice Blue Fender Jaguar, using a dodgy lead into a Vox AC30 amp which we plugged into a little radio speaker. The wiring was precarious - but we made it work. This would be about 1968/69. Unfortunately Dave had to sell the guitar when he needed the dough.

Sold the Jag???...ouch!!
thats pretty funny though, having to wire into a speaker,
when i was young oh so long ago..lol...i had rigged my guitar cord to go through the input on my stereo then out to some crappy Sears speakers....lol
didnt sound so well...but at least i could hear myself..
the guitar was an Aria Pro II custom les paul copy with mother of pearl vines up and down the fretboard, body was black and gold accents, not real gold though..lol
i sold it a pawn shop back in the mid-80's, wish I had that today, would be worth a little bit at least, but man did that guitar sound great through a friends amp...

My mate had a black Aria Les Paul - it sounded great and played really smooth - eventually he traded it in and got a real Les Paul - but I think he secretly preferred the Aria!!

yes that guitar played real smooth...just had that feel..ya know?
one of my guitars is a 2003 Fender squire, bright orange with one pickup and one volume knob, but the neck on it is amazing, believe it or not...lol
but the point I'm saying is that it doesn't matter it the guitar costs $12,000.00
US or $50.00, it is just how it feels and sounds.
