Hi UBW-Communtiy,
is there any function to search for a song (not artist), I didn't find something like that..maybe I oversight it? |

welcome to UBW! it's not often that i can remember the name of the song and not the artist, but everyone's neurons fire differently, i guess.  i went through the site for a bit and came to the conclusion that you can't really just search for songs. everythign seems to center aroudn the artists. that's actually my personal preference (i've got two profiles here so i'm also biased  ).
but, it's a very good point and idea. the site admin will come across this soon, i'm sure, and he will know how feasible it would be to add an extra search engine for songs.
but for now, simply put, the answer is no. sorry! i hope you're able to find what you're looking for via another means. who knows, there might also be something that i'm overlooking. let us know if you have further questions!  |

Yeah I know this site a time ago and I was only active as a guest..but I never saw something like a song search so I decided to ask. Whatever, I think it will be a nice idea to add something like that because simetimes I only remember the name of the song and forgot the one of the artist..maybe there are more people have the same problem.
Anyway, thanks for your answer..and btw. I found the song I was searching for, but it was a bit complicated  |

ich freue mich, dass du denLied gefunden hast, der du suchtest. Tja, wenn man eher an der Name des Lieds errinnertst, und gleich auch nicht die Artist Name dazu, dann hat man hier schon mehr Aufwand beim Suchen. ich werde deiner Vorschlag fuer einer Lieder Suchengine weiter empfehlen.
ich habe erst gerade gemerk, dass du aus Muenchen kommst. du hast sicherlich an die Saemtlichen Grammatik- und Schreibfehler bemerkt hast, dass ich selber kein Deutscher bin, aber ich habe mich schon seit einer Weile mit der deutscher Sprache auseinandergesetzt. ich bin erst vor fuenf Stuenden von Deutschland zurueckgekommen. meine Frau kommt aus Wuppertal.
es ist schoen ab und zu Deutscher hier beim UBW zu treffen. ich werde dich nicht weiter vollplaudern. falls du irgendwieder Fragen noch hast, sag einfach. mach et gut |

I have to say, that the old UBW search was much better, than the "Google Custom Search" you're using now.

If you use google you may have good luck finding tunes.
If I google search one of my song names followed by "Unsigned Band Web"
google returns a link with my artist page listed.
just a thought - I do understand - I often can't recall names, but do remember lyrics |
