you've got HD inputs? no wonder many of you tracks have a much better, polished quality. most of us don't have HD inputs, you know. you better start being a bit nicer to us since you have much better equipment.
i'm using an old IBM that boots from a floppy. i have 32 KB of RAM and a black and green computer screen!!! my OS is DOS! it doesn't even have a real processor...it's just a hand crank, some copper wiring wrapped around some nails, and some foil Pop-Tarts (pastry) wrappers. gets the job done though. i can run anything higher than Fruity Loops -5 XXsmall.
it's the same software that the original soundtrack for the 70's video game system "Pong" was created. you remember, it went like: bleep...bloop...blip, blip...bleep. classic, total classic!
just giving you a hard time.
has the interface changed much since version 4? that's the only one i've used and i didn't use it for very long at all. i barely remember it. it was probably 3.5 years ago and i have a bunch of really old DAWs and other stuff on a disc a friend gave me. everythign was already pretty old at the time. i think it had a cracked version of Reason 1.0 on it, if that tells you anything. i didn't do anything but acoustic music at the time, so it really wasn't well suited for that. i just needed something simple. i used at really old version of Vegas. to edit loops, you had to open up SoundForge, which worked as a plugin. the really old SoundForge wasn't really stand-alone software. you could use it as such, but you couldn't do much more with it than edit tracks. you just used it to add effects and such because Vegas only had one or two things you could choose from. all very crude.
ok, i've spent way too long on this post! have fun with your new software. |
