I have developed my own guitar style and
"TVI-Music: Total Vocalistic Improvisation", as I call it,
when even the language is made up during the playing
of any melody I have in mind and from feelings at the time.
Here you can listen to 2 songs:
Hot Love
I Promise You
I would appreciate any feedback

Hot Love........
Great guitar work!!!! This song has a very latin feel. No spanish though... Am I to take it that the vocals are TVI???? Very interesting. You have a wonderful voice. The reverb you used on the guitar and voice really create a nice ambience. To be honest, the mystery of not knowing the lyrics really adds to the song. If I had to guess I would say it's a love song. Overall, very enjoyable and very unique. If you've read any of my reviews before, uniqueness counts BIG with me, and I appreciate your innovation. Great song!

I promise you........
The intro is beautiful... This song really has a folk feel to it, like a song that's been passed down for generations. I would sing along if I new the words! Nice upbeat feel and interesting lyrics. To anyone that's never heard a PHILOS song, you should absolutely listen. Great voice and very interesting singing style! I would love to hear a soft female voice singing normal lyrics overtop of your lyrics. I think the blend would be wonderful...

Philos has one of the most unique singing styles around. I would recommend both of these songs for future listening. (In fact, I'm working on adding Philos a page here!!!) |
