My name is Miguel, I have three songs in the top three spots on the country chart, and the #1 song on the country pop chart. What gets my songs ranked so high? Do real country singers think my songs are country. Want some feedback. I get alot of listen's in Europe and the Eastern US. |

hi miguel,
i've already left my thoughts on it int he song reviews forum. i think you're more singer/songwriter. you may not think of yourself in that genre because you don't have that generic sound often associated with it. you're pretty eclectic, even though you draw a lot on country/folk roots. it's been a few days since i had a listen. some of your stuff could also easily be classified in the acoustic genre, since a lot of singer/songwriter material ends up there.
i remember that the songs i listened to were mostly just you w/ your guitar - though one had sax. nice tracks, btw. i don't think alt. country fits it either.
